The SATO WS4 Series of 4-inch desktop thermal printers are feature-rich and affordably priced with great production throughput. Available in direct thermal (DT) or thermal transfer (TT), the WS4 offers exceptional print quality at either 203 dpi or 300 dpi with print speeds of up to 6 ips.

Maximizing Performance, Versatility and Investment

Flexible and versatile, the WS4 boasts a ribbon capacity of 984 feet, reducing the need for frequent ribbon changes. When integrated with its optional external media stand, as well as both the increased ribbon capacity and industry-standard media rolls with an 8-inch outside diameter, the WS4 significantly expands its functionality to what is normally present in larger tabletop printer models at a fraction of the price. The WS4 allows for straightforward replacement of its print head or platen roller, so it can quickly return to full operation after maintenance. Designed with connectivity in mind, the WS4 printer has USB, RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces as standard. It also features optional Bluetooth or 802.11 WLAN communication interfaces, further expanding its versatility.

SATO WS4 compact desktop label printers are fully Cerner-validated peripheral devices for native use within the Cerner health IT system to ensure patient safety, quality and efficacy.

SATO WS4 printers are designed for wide use throughout the healthcare supply chain, notably for printing patient wristbands, specimen pathology labels and other labels used in hospitals. They can be deployed at various points in the supply chain, from clinical labs to pharmacies, medical checkup centers, clinics and hospitals.
