Barcode and RFID tag labels can streamline warehouse operations, including location management of raw materials and components, expiration date management, and inventory control.

Returnable Transport Items (RTIs), which have traditionally been managed by experience and intuition, are now managed through data. Readings are captured at various points across the site, and information is automatically collected to visualize locations and total quantities. Furthermore, BLE beacons enable real-time tracking of caged vehicles—accurately identifying the number in each area and monitoring their movement between locations. This eliminates uneven distribution, ensuring that cage cars are always available where, when, and in the quantities they are needed.

The integrated print engine and automatic label applicator can apply labels not only to flat surfaces, but also to curved surfaces and the insides of cylinders, which until now could only be done manually.

SATO AEP (Application Enabled Printing) is a feature that enables a stand-alone application to run directly inside the printer to issue labels. This allows labels to be printed even without connecting to a computer. In addition, it streamlines the labeling process, reduces input errors, and makes on-site label issuance easy for anyone.

Simply place RFID-tagged or labeled work orders in a designated location to automatically capture work start and completion times. Work data for each employee can be easily recorded. Compared with handwritten, barcode, or 2D code methods, this approach reduces operator workload and minimizes human error.

Positioning technology provides data on the location and movement of people and objects at manufacturing sites. This data is useful for recording the start and completion of work, analyzing current conditions, and optimizing equipment and staffing. It can also be used to solve a variety of onsite issues, such as detecting workers entering hazardous areas or falling, searching for raw materials or intermediate products, etc.
