CHARLOTTE, NC – SATO, a global leader in barcode printing, labeling, and EPC/RFID solutions, unveiled today the new LM4e Series barcode printers that feature entry-level pricing without compromising the superior performance, solid construction, and outstanding features built into every SATO printer sold.
Designed with every start-up and small company budget in mind, the new SATO LM4eSeries printers include standard features usually reserved for higher priced printers, which make them ideal for any sized company.
The new SATO LM4e Series printers are perfect for manufacturing, freight forwarding, retail, and life science applications, and for specific applications within the logistics, distribution, pharmaceutical and healthcare, retail, transportation, apparel, automotive, and military/DoD industries. Ideal applications include designing and generating labels for shipping, compliance, specimens, pharmacy items, product ID, and cross dock, as well as ticket and tags, inventory control, and asset management.
“We talked to our customers and determined that many of them needed a durable, high-speed, thermal barcode printer that wouldn’t break their budgets,” said Gary Krause, director of marketing at SATO America. “The result is SATO’s new LM4e Series, industrial thermal printers at entry-level prices. Understanding that many printing applications do not require all of the “bells and whistles” that are included in and increase the price of most thermal barcode printers, we developed the LM4e Series to include the features most needed at a tremendous cost/performance value as compared to our competitor’s offerings.”
Featuring an all metal chassis, 4.1 inches print width, linear and 2-D symbologies, 8.6 inches OD label roll capacity, 6 inches per second (ips) print speed, 203 dpi (dots per inch) or 305 dpi models, and Quick, Load & Go consumable design – all at entry-level pricing. USB, 802.11g, parallel and serial interfaces are also available.
“The new LM4e Series once again demonstrates SATO’s leadership position in designing thermal, barcode printers that serve our customers’ specific requirements,” added Robert Linse, president of SATO America. “We firmly believe that our customer-centric approach to product development best serves the needs of both our customers and value-added resellers.”
