Principle Responsibilities

  • Develop, troubleshoot, debug and document, software and programs.
  • Analyze competitive designs, new technologies, protocols, and other pertinent features as required.
  • Project manage the design, development, debugging and testing of assigned project enhancements and modifications to meet deadlines.
  • Perform analysis of specifications for new or enhanced product and system features.

Qualifications

· Performs continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to accelerate close.

· Participate in other projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master’s Degree/or CPA preferred, coupled with 10+ years accounting and supervisory experience gained in a manufacturing environment as well as experience working with international subsidiaries preferred, i.e. exposure to local and international trade laws, currency impacts, etc.,
  • Financial Planning & Analysis, and budget process experience are required.
  • Experience with general ledger and consolidation applications.
  • Well-versed in US GAAP & IFRS.
  • Must be PC proficient with excellent knowledge of financial database applications, proficiency with Excel is a must. Oracle is strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical accounting experience desired, including GAAP, IFRS, SOX and/or JSOX Compliance.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.

SATO America -Romeoville Facility is seeking highly motivated, career-focused, Customer Service Representatives.

Job Overview: Obtains and processes customer orders and interacts with customers and internal departments to confirm customer requirements, obtain quotes, request part numbers, and ensure customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Prepares orders and answers customer and sales inquiries.
  • Occasionally acts as a liaison between sales and manufacturing.
  • Accepts and enters service calls; notifies technicians of customers' needs.
  • Submits paperwork to manufacturing and sales in order to attain correct work and price estimates.
  • Maintains records of releases.
  • Effectively manages a large number of emails and incoming calls.
  • Resolves customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Performs various clerical work such as data entry and filing.
  • Performs all duties safely following company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed to meet business demands.

Business Development Manager (BDM) - Western Region

SATO America is looking for a Business Development/Sales Manager to drive our expanding our business in the western territory.

The BDM is accountable for selling in a direct to end-user business environment, responsible for selling the full line of SATO solutions and services. The individual acts as a consultant for AIDC and RFID solutions. The candidate shall be responsible for the Western Region of the United States.

This position will be tasked with ensuring prospect development and acquisition of new clients. The successful candidate will maintain and develop sound business relationships with clients and internal teams and ensure effective sales management processes are in place to meet service delivery and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic account penetration by building and executing professional selling relationships with key stakeholders, discovering needs, relating customer value to SATO hardware, software & service solutions, handling objections, and managing ongoing customer relationships.
  • Work to develop a continuous pipeline of new opportunities from the list of assigned target accounts while maintaining and growing the existing client base.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Assume total ownership for accelerating the sale process: target new business development, managing the quote process, "quarterbacking" the proposal development and successful delivery of the SATO solution.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers, create action plans, and measure activity against target.
  • Coordinate resources to identify key internal and external resources, communicate relevant information, and build customer-focused relationships.
  • Consultative problem solving to drive customer value by using both internal & external collaboration to maximize account penetration and sales of the complete product line.
  • Develop customer relationships and provide data and insights on customer requirements, strategies, and business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years successful sales experience using consultative selling and closing skills in technology environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills coupled with solid technical abilities. A demonstrated ability to close a sale that may consist of a long selling cycle.
  • Must be technically savvy having a basic knowledge of PC level local and network hardware and host system understanding and communications. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
  • Strong working knowledge of AIDC solutions and their associated selling techniques.
  • General understanding of RFID technology and applications.
  • College degree a plus.
  • A self-starter who can manage sales goals through prospecting, lead qualification, forecasting, resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
  • Ability to manage a sales process, including negotiating sales opportunities to closure, through a deep understanding of a prospective customer buying process.
  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
  • Experience in developing product and solution offerings.
  • Ability to travel
