Brussels – SATO, a leader in barcode printing since introducing the first thermal transfer barcode printer and the industry’s first, complete multi-protocol EPCcompliant RFID solutions, announced today that they have come to an agreement with L’étiquetage rationnel to merge their activities in France.
L’étiquetage rationnel has been a reseller of the complete SATO product range in the French market for the past 27 years with excellent results, being SATO’s largest partner in Europe.
"With this logical acquisition, we now have a very large presence in France. This will allow us to provide the best service and support to our customers, which is extremely important during this new technology phase of RFID," says Patrick Frimat, Managing Director of SATO Europe. The founder and owner of L’étiquetage rationnel Mr Jean-Pierre Ampen states: "I am delighted about this opportunity of merging our activities, it is a great for L’étiquetage rationnel, for SATO and, of course, for our customers."
The new company will be called SATO France S.A. with its main operations running from Lille and with it sales headquarters in Paris. With its growth strategy in France, SATO expects more expansion and job creations in the future. SATO is convinced about its success and looks forward to a fruitful cooperation with its existing and new customers in the French market.
