Steps To Upgrade/Activate LabelGallery

To prevent unauthorized use of its software, SATO has introduced an activation process that must be completed after installing the software, otherwise the software will run in Demo Mode.  The process takes just a few moments to complete.  No personal information is captured or transmitted during activation, other than what is required to register the product. 

When a customer installs a LabelGallery  product that requires activation, the PC where the software is installed must be connected to the internet or at least have a PC with internet access to complete the registration process manually.
 

Step 1
  • You must be connected to the internet on the PC installing LabelGallery
  • Remove the hardware key (if used)
  • Install LabelGallery  - ensure you select the correct tier in which you purchased (Easy/Plus/TruePro) for the registration to activate the product
  • Launch LabelGallery  and select Help/Manage License from menu bar

 
Step 2 
  • Click on the respective radio button for Single User Software Key and click the Next button

 
Step 3 
  • Enter in registration information

    NOTE: The information entered here will have to be IDENTICAL to the information needed for the Web Page Activation method - Ensure you use same syntax and spellings (cAsE sEnSiTiVe) for ALL fields on both forms.

 
Step 4 
  • Key in the necessary information (e.g. software key number on memo included in packaging) and click Next
  • Click on the link for Automatic Activation
  • Click Next
  • Click the Finish button to complete the activation process.

 

Label Gallery Activation without Internet access on installation PC:

You can still activate Label Gallery software, if the computer does not have access to the internet.  Please refer to the following steps (note: you will still need to complete the license/registration information with a PC that does have internet access) :

      Follow the steps one (1) to four (4) above.

  1. Write down the Key Number and the Registration Number.
  2. Go to the computer with the internet access and open the activation website from SATO Worldwide (http://www.satoworldwide.com/labelgallery/index.htm) in the browser window (Internet Explorer).
  3. Click Software Key Activation in Registration section (lower right-hand corner of page).
  4. Enter the Key Number and the Registration Number. Enter other user information when prompted.
  5. Click on the Register button to retrieve the Activation code. Write it down.
    Note: The information in the Key Number, Registration Number, Activation Code and other fields is cAsE-sEnSiTiVe, so be careful when writing it down - they MUST match exactly in order to generate a valid Activation Code.

  6. Go back to the Label Gallery computer (without the internet access) where the window Manage License is still opened.
  7. Enter the Activation Code.
  8. Click on the Next button and follow the prompts to complete the activation process.
